Buyers

How do I buy something on Print Focal?

Click the Shop Products tab, browse the categories, and add anything you like to your cart. Once you check out, we'll get to work printing and shipping your order straight to your door.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Is my personal and payment information secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted via TLS. Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider. We never store your raw card details or sell your personal information.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Contact us at support@printfocal.com as soon as possible with your order details and any requested changes. We'll do our best to accommodate a cancellation or change before printing begins. Note: once your order is in production, we're unable to make changes.

Where does Print Focal ship?

We currently ship within the 48 contiguous United States only, including PO boxes. This excludes Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and APO/FPO military addresses.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most orders are shipped within 3-5 business days. Please keep in mind that stated delivery windows are estimates and are not guaranteed.

How do I track my order?

You can find your tracking number under My orders in your account. All orders ship through USPS.

What if my item arrives damaged or has a defect?

Contact us at support@printfocal.com as soon as possible, within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the product. If the product is significantly different from what was shown in the listing, or has a manufacturing defect, we'll offer a replacement, reprint, refund, or store credit. Note: small differences like layer lines, minor stringing, slight color variation, or small size tolerances are normal with 3D printing and aren't considered defects. Colors may also look slightly different in person than on your screen due to monitor settings and filament batch variation.

Sellers

How do I become a seller?

Create a free account, complete your designer profile, and upload your first model for review. Once it's approved, your listing goes live. You'll also need to connect a Stripe account with a valid U.S. bank account to receive payouts. Most sellers are up and running in under 30 minutes.

Do I need a printer to sell on Print Focal?

No printer required. Print Focal's main focus is to make selling easier for designers, so you can keep creating without the hassle of running a printing operation. We print and ship all items for you.

What file formats can I upload?

We accept STL, 3MF, and F3D file formats.

How does the review process work?

After you upload your model, it's checked for printability, including watertight geometry, minimum wall thickness, and size constraints. If any issues are found, we'll reach out with details about the listing. If it passes review, your listing goes live.

What materials are available to choose from for my listing?

We currently offer PLA, PETG, ABS, PET-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF, and TPU-95A.

What colors are available to choose from for my listing?

We currently offer more than 20 colors on Print Focal, varying across material types.

Can I request a material or color that's not currently offered?

Send us an email at support@printfocal.com and we'll try to accommodate the request.

How much do I earn per sale?

You earn 100% of the net profit on every sale. Net profit is the sale price minus our production costs (platform, fulfillment, manufacturing, materials, packaging, shipping, applicable taxes, and a 3% processing fee). A full breakdown of each sale is available in your seller dashboard.

Do I still own my design once it's listed on Print Focal?

You retain full intellectual property rights to everything you list.

What rights does Print Focal have to my designs?

By listing on Print Focal, you grant us a non-exclusive license to manufacture and market physical prints of your design, use your listing images and descriptions for marketing, and make minor technical adjustments needed for print compatibility. Your digital files are never sold, shared, or distributed.

When do I get paid?

Earnings are paid out every 14 days via your Stripe Connect account. Funds go through a 14-day clearing period first, to allow time for any disputes or chargebacks. You can check your earnings and payout history anytime in your seller portal.

What happens if a customer reports a defect?

If the defect is caused by a print or fulfillment issue on our end, Print Focal covers the cost and your earnings are not affected. If the defect is caused by a problem with your model file, such as a geometry error or misrepresented product, you may be liable for the chargeback amount and any associated processing fees, which may be deducted from your payouts.

What makes a listing sell better?

Top selling listings include the following: clear photos, a descriptive title with searchable keywords, accurate dimensions in the description, competitive pricing, and multiple color options where possible.

How can I promote my listings and increase sales?
  • Post photos and short videos of your prints on visual social media platforms. Tag us on Instagram at @printfocal and link directly to your listing.
  • Share your work in communities and forums that are relevant to your product's use case, not 3D printing communities.
  • Link to your Print Focal storefront from everywhere: your email signature, portfolio sites, project-sharing platforms, and any professional profile you maintain.
  • Run a limited-time introductory price when you launch a new product to drive early sales and reviews. Early traction can help push your listing higher in search results.
  • Promote consistently, even just 20 to 30 minutes a day, to build visibility over time.
